BLACK SPARROE is the genesis of Kendall Redmon. An unorthodox extension of his artistic creation. Unadulterated by his commercial creative style and thinking via public murals, graphic design, etc. This new beginning was a way for him to “get back to his roots” in why he loved being an artist.
The inception of B.S. started with simple creative play. Kendall has always been a fan of fashion and creative outward expression. Years before this project even began, his wardrobe already consisted of 80% thrifted items. Due to the variety of unique clothing he could find, in combination with very low prices this led to a large surplus of clothing he collected overtime. After growing fond of multiple thrifted pairs of pants he had worn to mural sites that collected paint drips, brush strokes and hand smears, he began weaving them into his everyday commonplace wardrobe. That new added flare in his expression sparked this current venture for his creative career….
“WE WORK IN THE DARK - WE DO WHAT WE CAN - WE GIVE WHAT WE HAVE. OUR DOUBT IS OUR PASSION, AND OUR PASSION IS OUR TASK. THE REST IS THE MADNESS OF ART.”
